FAQ
What makes this filter different from other filters?
Be Healthy iBlue Link High Performance Filter System is the only shower filter that has 1 micrometer filtration while it is safe to use up to 140 degrees F.
Carbon filters (used by other brands) work well when filtering cold water. However, once warm water passes through carbon filters, it will potentially contaminate the output water as it will “off-load” previously trapped contaminants. If you do not like cold showers, we recommend using iBlue Link Filters.

How long does each filter last? How often do I change it?
1 to 3 months, usually. But it depends on your water!
In theory, a single filter could last several months if you're one of the fortunate people with cleaner tap water. Based on our experience, you might need to change your filters more frequently if you reside in an older house or building or get your water from a well. When your filter starts to lose water pressure or turns dark, it's a good time to replace it.

Be Healthy iBlue Link High-Performance Filter system, although compact, is designed from the ground up and tested by American Technology Clinical Solutions to effectively filter contaminants in your water. Our Multi-Layer Micro Sediment Filter prevents anything bigger than 1 μm from passing through. That is 1000x smaller than a grain of sand. Dirt, rust, mold spores, calcium, and heavy metal particles will be filtered. The second line of defense is the Anti-Viral Omnia filters and Vitamin filters. This neutralizes viruses and common tap water chemicals like chlorine and chloramine impurities.

Will the filter fit my showerhead?
If your shower pipe thread is G1/2 inch or NPT, then yes, 100% guaranteed fit.
Almost all shower pipe manufacturers in the US use the common G1/2 inch thread or NPT as it is both effective and efficient with various water pressures in American households. Almost all handheld showerheads also use the G1/2 or NPT threads.

Can I drink the filtered water?
It’s not designed for drinking.

Are the replacement filters recyclable?
After each use, used filters should be disposed of with regular trash.
For the time it’s used, it has been filtering all the contaminants and sediments from the water. There is NO possible way to wash and clean the filters completely. They cannot be recycled and should be properly disposed of.

Will the filter reduce the water pressure of the shower?
Upon first use, there won’t be any noticeable change.
However, the longer you use it, more and more contaminants and sediments will be trapped between the filters. This will lead to a change in pressure. If your water pressure weakens significantly, even if the color of the filter didn’t darken as much, it would be a good time to replace the filters as not all contaminants are dark in color.
